Welcome to Montesquieu-des-Albères!

Get ready to embark on a great adventure to discover this strategic village and the history of the decisive battle of Le Boulou.

Practical information:

- Start of the adventure: School car park (note: this is also where the market is held every Tuesday from 7.30am to 1pm!)

- Route lasts approximately 1h30

- Bring good walking shoes and a bottle of water.

- The landscape will play an important role in the success of this game, and it is not advisable to do it in foggy weather.

- Before you start, it's a good idea to recharge your camera.

- Please note the castle's opening times:

Summer (01/05 to 30/09): 9am to 7pm

Winter (01/10 to 30/04): 10am to 6pm

- If you have binoculars, bring them with you so you can admire the landscape in all its detail.

- Once you've finished your adventure, we strongly recommend a visit to the municipal museum. Open every day on request, you can admire objects discovered during archaeological excavations of the castle, its 3D reproduction, as well as old-fashioned tools and images of bygone days.
